WCBOO U

Women's Collegiate Basketball officials must know the rules completely before stepping on the court. In this course, you will master the rules. WCBOO U is designed to challenge you and improve your officiating. Learn at home while meeting others. Interact with classmates and our experienced instructors for a unique and meaningful experience. You will receive an email with instructions to access the course modules, Google Classroom, and materials upon receipt of payment.

Class 1

In Class 1, you'll learn about who IAABO is as an organization, as well as important information about the court, its dimensions, the basket, and much more.

Class 2

Class 2 addresses officials' general duties, as well as those of the scorer, timer and shot clock operator. You'll also learn about what equipment and apparel is legal.

Class 3

The Class 3 outline includes the referee's duties, head coach and bench decorum, substitutions, scoring, as well as overtime and interrupted game procedures.

Class 4

In Class 4, you'll learn about live ball, dead ball and disposal, player and team control, the jumb ball, held ball, possession arrow, and stopping the game and shot clocks.

Class 5

Class 5 addresses to whom and when the ball is awarded in different scenarios, throw-ins, designated spots, delays and warnings, as well as alternating possession.

Class 6

The Class 6 outline includes backcourt, front court, ball/player location, shooting, basket interference and goaltending, dribbling, traveling and other violations.
