WCBOO U

Women's Collegiate Basketball officials must know the rules completely before stepping on the court. In this course, you will master the rules.  WCBOO U is designed to challenge you and improve your officiating. Learn at home while meeting others. Interact with classmates and our experienced instructors for a unique and meaningful experience. Participate in instructional Zoom sessions, course modules, complete a team presentation and  a review project with your team, take quizzes, and earn your WCBOO U "Certificate of Completion".  

What is WCBOO U?

  • A totally new opportunity using the education and technology resources of IAABO

  • Invest in your rules knowledge, points of emphasis, and basic mechanics of women's collegiate basketball officiating

  • A fully remote, self-paced rules training course which is available 24/7

  • Use of Google Classroom for course documents and communication

  • Learn with like minded officials from around the country and around the world

  • Live one hour Zoom meetings allow interaction with students, make the course more dynamic, encourage debate, and provide immediate answers to questions

  • All Zoom sessions are recorded and archived

  • Officials who wish to refresh their rules knowledge for the upcoming season

  • Officials who aspire to officiate women's collegiate basketball
